Biscuit's scrapes
Permalink Closed

A mixed time for Biscuit this weather, he's chased a fox that passed in the morning, and more recently chased a huge looking deer that ran right across my path with Biscuit in pursuit.  Biscuit returned with scrapes down his face and leg, which you can just see in the picture.  It seems impossible to have a quiet stroll with Biscuit, as one minute everything is peaceful and the next I'm charging after him and a deer to try and keep track.

On the up side, here is a picture with a new pal - Harvey.

It's a nightmare trying to keep them intact.  Still, it's nice to see them having fun.

Lovely pics valerie.  He's such a lively lad.  Can imagine you chasing him all over keeping track of him.

I think Biscuit deserves his own book with all his escapades!

I thought it was just me Dave doing something wrong, until I spent a couple of hours at Bothwell with 1 year old greys who were the most patient, gentle creatures you could meet, I could hardly believe how biddable and willing to stand about they were.  Biscuit looks like a small hairy grey, but there the similarity ends.  Biscuit is headstrong, confident, curious and thinks he knows best outside, but inside he mostly an angel, and there's nothing I would change, cos then he wouldn't be Biscuit

p.s. forget to tell you all the one where I sat down at the side of the path to adjust my welly and socks (all the while holding my welly cos I knew he would steal it) when he ran up behind me, grabbed my hood and started tugging me backwards!  I think the walk was too mundane for him.  Picture the scene with me being dragged backwards.......arms flailing................air turning blue.........

The hood tugging tale had me in stitches!  Someone should follow you on your walks with a camcorder.  Just think of how much money Gal could get from 'you've been framed'
