Ok ladies (and gents)! Now you know we've all got them hiding away in the bottom of jewellery boxes or at the back of drawers.
What am I talking about? Single earrings, of course. I don't know about you, but I've got at least six. Goodness knows where the other one went, but there they are - all solitary and lonely and mostly mangled - single earrings! And how did I ever think that they were worthy of being slotted through my ears in the first place.
They are worth absolutely nothing on their own, but if there were enough of them they would soon add up and make a few bob for the GAL Kennel Fund.
And it's not only earrings which find themselves all forlorn and heading for the backof the drawer. There's the bracelet that broke and you keep meaning to have fixed, or the bit of a chain that is of no use any longer.
Well, they need no longer feel abandoned and alone. Because together they can have a new lease of life! I'll take them off your hands, and when there is enough to merit a trip to Glasgow they can be sold at a gold merchant and the cash put towards the Kennel Fund.
I'm going to start the collection off by having a good clear out of my drawers!
And that won't be a pretty sight!!
So, not only would you be helping out GAL, you'd also be doing your old bits of jewellery a favour and making it feel worthy again.
