Makes you wonder what they're going to be using instead of jackets and muzzles!
The mind boggles!
Maybe they'd be better backing football - would possibly reach a wider audience and I for one might watch the odd match to see all these "macho" guys running about in Ann Summers gear - give me a laugh!
The connection can only be money. Seriously, I think it is really worrying that in the last year there is more and more PR devoted to a "night at the dogs". I think greyhound racing is trying to appeal to a wider market, attract new money etc., and that can only mean even more bad news for greyhounds in the future. Ann Summers is a big company, and are obviously trying to get more women at racetracks by putting their name behind the industry. I was really saddened to hear this one.
On a girlie nite in with a (or rather a few) bottles of wine, i had my friends trying to think of fun fund raising ideas for the kennel fund and one of the girls suggested an Ann Summers party with the commision going to the fund.......Don't think we will bother now
Gail I think you could be on to something there, because in fact you are probably turning the Ann Summers thing on it's head by putting the commission to saving Greys rather than exploiting them. I suppose the greys don't care that they are being saved by sales of sex toys...........? Are there human objectors?
What getting up my nose just now is the advert on ITV for a great night out at the dogs. The advert makes it look so glamorous and a fun night out for all the family along with the website on how to book and where your nearest racetrack is. Nora
