Ive not been on here in a while and thought I'd let you know how e're going
Rosie is doing fine. We seem to have almost cracked the morning/breakfast issue. We have got to the stage where Rosie is usually getting up at about 6-ish which is okay for us. She has the odd 5am 'need' for breakky but not nearly as often as before. Well, you cant expect them to behave every day! Little Gems' legs are hassling her a bit now. If she walks for too long then her legs are very stiff for the next few days. Apart from that she's a happy old girl. Still living up to her guard dog duties at the age of 13/14! and still very much 'The Boss'. Gem is getting quite grey round his muzzle and eyes, he's about 9 now. Here are a few photos-
Glad Rosie seems to have settled down a bit. Must have been quite trying - I know how hard it can be when dogs get you up at all hours - we sometimes have problems with our old man needing out through the night.
It's quite hard watching them getting old and kinda tired and very frustrating knowing that you can't take away any pain, discomfort or illness. At least they're somewhere that they are loved and looked after as best we can.
Your dogs are all looking well in the photos. Love that one of Rosie with her foot in her mouth.
