I've been enjoying your site for a while so though not directly involved with GAL, thought I'd finally register. I have three hounds, Timmy is 3.5yrs and came from his trainer, Teidi is 4yrs and came to me from a local organisation as a very frightened nervous, bald wee girl, and Tia, now 3.5yrs joined us a year ago. I'm currently fostering another girl who is 8yrs, almost toothless and a bit arthritic, but gorgeous anyway!This all arose from getting Whitley from RGT some six years ago. Sadly we lost poor Whit to bone cancer when he was only 7, but he had sparked off a love - obsession maybe? - with greys, and the more I found out about the horrendous abuse these lovely animals suffer, the more I had to get off my backside and do something. So here we are. I do ocasional homechecks and dog transport for our local organisation and try to promote greys at work and everywhere. I often get the neg reactions I've read in some posts but also find very many people interested and concerned, and this is increasing. I have protested about poor Major, and hope everyone continues the pressure until something is seen to be done. Although I live in the North, it would be nice to meet up with some of you at some point, who knows? best wishes,
