RE: The 2007 Edinburgh Marathon and Hairy Haggis Team Relay

As the event draws nearer it is great to see all the fundraising pages emerging on the Just Giving web site. Why not take a look and see how the fundraisers are doing for GAL :

We also have someone running individually in the Lochaber Marathon for us.

If anyone else is still interested in the Edinburgh event - I have one place left for the Marathon (or for a team of 4 people to do the Hairy Haggis Relay).

GAL will also be manning a Water Station on the day along the course at Port Seton Links. This is where our "cheering station " will be so anyone is welcome to come along and help out or give the runners some encouragement along the course!

More details will follow nearer the time, but if anyone is interested in helping out with the water station, please let me know. You will need to be prepared to be in Edinburgh early on the morning of 27th May as we will be setting up at 9am.

Free BBQ and T shirt to all who help a long with a £15 donation from the Marathon to GAL! We need 15 helpers and have 9 so far.
