After GAL walk today, went out for lunch then took dogs a long walk. Found a fantastic quiet bay, which was completely deserted so was able to let "Faboulous Willy" off lead for a run with Millie He had a ball and they are all shattered tonight. Hope you like the pics Sorry there are so many pics but there's no words can explain how it feels to see 2 dogs with such speed and elegance run for the joy of it on a beautiful open beach
I love that first one of "Fabulous Willy" - he looks stunning! I take it you saw Crufts best in show - can I just say that I much prefer your Fabulous Willy to the winner!
Right that's it Jennifer you have to give me your photo taking secrets! I just got a really fancy camera and still can't get pics as good as that! I am still learning how to use the damn thing but even the good pictures i have taken are fab quality, but just a rubbish angle or I just get Caspers bum or something. How do you do it!!??
Willow looks stunning, he is such a handsome fellow & Millie is gorgeous as ever

Super photos, Jennifer! I see Millie hasn't lost her long tongue! And all the dogs are having such a good time in and out of the water. It's thrilling to see them run for fun!
They are having a ball! Is that the first time Willy got off the lead? The beach looks fab....guess you wont be telling anyone where it is...I wouldnt!! Did Willy ever take the lead running or was he happy chasing Millie?? Just wondered, cos its always Presley who chases Molly never the other way around, and its usually Presley who is chasing her with the ball in his mouth! (Of course it could be due to the fact, that despite her being sooooo tiny, she can easily out run the big lanky Presley boy)

No he's been off before but has such a high prey drive that if he see's anyone at the other end of the beach, miles away, he'll run to them and stand with them till i go get him! Some people are understanding of why he does this but i cant take the chance incase people are not happy bout it so he doesnt get off now. He has only been off in total since ive had him about 5 times but just for very short bursts to practice his recall. I just let im off yesterday since there were no distractions in sight for him to run off to and i was scanning the horizon every 5 mins to check no one was coming. Millie is faster than him so she is always in the lead The beach is down at Gullane (East Lothian) but not the first part you come to where most folks go, its a quiet bay much further along
Fantastic photo,s Jennifer your dogs look so happy. I know the bay you are talking about, it is so quite and just right for a peaceful safe time with your dogs. Nora

Brilliant pictures! I've tried taking shots of the dogs on the move but so often take pictures of empty sand with teh dog gone past I've kind of surrended to having to memorise it all. Lovely to see your successful images and I know just what you mean about never tiring of the thrill of seeing them run free like this.
Fantastic pictures Jennifer, i am never able to capture mine when they are running at full speed As Kathye said aswell, i often gets pics of the sand or a blurred background as they have belted past by the time i take the picture
