LEO'S BORDER TREK - 9th to 13th May

Between the above dates Leo the Lurcher will be walking the "Old Cross Borders Drovers Road" from the Pentlands to Yarrowford plus "The John Buchan Way" on the 13th.
He is walking for sponsorship which is to be divided between Wood Green Animal Shelters and Northants Greyhound Rescue his website is www.justgiving.com/leoinborders .
On the 13th he will be leaving Peebles at 1030 hrs for the 13 mile walk (or 6 miles if finishing at Stobo Castle) to Broughton together with some supporters of Dumfriesshire and Cumbria Greyhound Rescue who are also looking for sponsors.

WHY IS THIS ON THE GAL FORUM?

Because it is not all about raising money it is as much about GREYHOUND AWARENESS and any publicity that can be achieved.
If any GAL supporters are in the area please come and say hello, Leo is a white lurcher and I'll be holding his lead and wearing a GAL sweatshirt.
