My greyhounds were out in the field running yesterday and on return all was fine.   A few hours later Fergus was hopping around, he is lifting his back right leg and not putting any pressure on it. 

Checked him out, paw and muscles moving leg around and he appears not to be in pain and is still hopping around today.

Any ideas?

Vets this morning, she thinks he's got a nasty sprain.  Typical greyhound, crys everywhere she touched so difficult to find out exactly what was wrong.   Some pain killers and back for a check up later in week.

Went back to vets for check up and he seems fine now. 

Few more days before he'll be running in the field though.
