Here are some pix of Captain. He is such a lovely gentle big dog. Very friendly and sociable. I didnt realise that dogs could wag thier tails for so long. He has settled in brilliant and would be happy on his own or with other dogs. Great with kids and is very curious to new noises and stuff. He hasnt managed the stairs yet as I think he prefers the smell of the kitchen and whats in the fridge.

Will try to get group shots later, especially with his harem of Millie and Kiera :)

Cheers

We took Captain out for a walk with our lot today up Balloch Park and he enjoyed sniffing around and finding out this new territory. He walks great on the lead, and today he discovered "other" dogs. We met friends who have a collie type dog and a small hairy dog (both 57 varieties :))  Captain got ecited and wanted to sniff and barked quite excitedly. Once he saw our lot interact with Charlie and Pepsi he settled OK. We have experienced this with any dog we have had from the trainer.

After the walk he settled down and rested whilst wondering what to get up to next?

So he set about discovering how to open the shutter blinds we have on our front window.

All in all he makes a great pet and would be a good addition to other doggy families, even with non greyhounds he would fine. He is so cuddly and his coat is soft and he has the floppiest of ears when he gets inquisitive.

I hope you enjoy these photos.

You have such big hearts and it's great to know that another dog is safe and sound.  I take my hat off to you all (that includes all the other foster parents out there too).  worship.gif

Captain is a very handsome big fella.  He sounds like a real sweetheart.  aww

Thanks for posting the photos of Captain, Helen and Lindsay. He's so handsome and he's settled in so well with you, taking all the new things he sees in his stride. He'll make a great addition to any family looking for a greyhound pet!

He does have a puppy dog look about him. He's quite gangly and has a lovely soft coat and bounds about like a puppy. If he's 5 years old then he must have great genes!smile.gif Here are a couple of pix with him playing with a toy for a first time today. That's Prince with him in the background.
