What a horrible, awful thing to happen.  The distress caused to Sweep and his owner is beyond contemplation.  I hope there will be a happy ending to this story! 

As for the bogus caller, I hope she gets what she deserves!  furious

This is a terrible thing to have happened to a much loved pet.  Just makes you think how easy it can be to be caught off guard!!   I probably may have been taken in myself, so soon after adopting a dog.  Let's hope for a happy ending.
