"Rising tide of unease" - that's another understatement. I've spoken to a few people recently whilst out walking my three and the conversation has mostly involved comments on how striking Tigger (and Millie) are and also the horrible things done to greyhounds.

Thanks Siouxsie, for providing the link to this! Daniel Foggo has highlighted the greyhound's plight very well. The more publicity the better, I think. And btw Lord Lipsey sounds like a real tosser!

Lord Lipsey, chairman of the British Greyhound Racing Board, said he would oppose attempts to include animal welfare groups in the running of the sport.

Hmmm must have something to hide then eh...!

lord lipsey does, indeed, sound like a right tosser! what tit would exclude animal welfare groups in the running of any sport which involves animals - surely, they should welcome the groups so they can be seen to be whiter than white.
