Monthly Dog Walk - EDINBURGH - 27 May 2007
Permalink Closed

Sincere apologies, didn't realise it was nearly the end of the month once more.

So folks it that time again for our EDINBURGH Walk next Sunday. Something most greyhound and lurcher owners enjoy and have in common is walking dogs and talking dogs well! what better way than at a great location such as Holyrood Park this Sunday 27 May at 12 noon! This is a fun informal activity where like minded people can get together to discuss all things four legged and exercise the pups at the same time.
WHERE?: Holyrood Park in Edinburgh, meet at the St Margarets Loch Car Park(the meadowbank end of the park!)
WHEN?: Sunday 27 May 2007 at 12 noon Looking forward to seeing you there.

**If you need further info on our Edinburgh Walks please contact me on siouxsie@gal.org.uk

Unfortunately we won't be able to make it due to work commitments, but it would appear that most of the roads and parking will be reopened by 1030 around the park.

Hi, Unfortunately we won't be able to make it this time as my son has a karate competition at Meadowbank. Hope everyone enjoys themselves. See you all next time.

Great pics. We missed the meeting today due to unexpected visitors. Again, let's hope we make it next time. I'm very keen to find out which pub Mason ended up in after his latest escape as I am an honorary Leither.

I'll also have to get a camera to take pics I can post so you lot can have have a look. Ain't it strange that everyone enjoys seeing pics of other peopes hounds? Perhaps not, we all want to see them having a decent life in spite of the fact they sometimes drive us mad. Why do they attack bog rolls? (see another thread on this regarding Andrex Puppies)

Aaaaaaaaaaaahhh, Djando has just attacked a pair of spectacles and I'm worried he might have swallowed some glass. Never mind the cost of the glasses, can this do him any harm???

Great pics, wish I'd been there. I had to suffer some bloke looking round every inch of my truck, kicking tyres, making sucking noise through his teeth and bashing bits with a hammer. After over an hour he said he wasn't interestedfurious some people need to get a dog or a life or something! You seem to have had great weather, it's been a monsoon here today. The photos have cheered me up no end, I've decided I'm not waiting in for anyone else who wants to see the truck, I'd rather keep it and enjoy my free time.biggrin

mmmh, time wasters are so annoying when you could be doing something you enjoy.  This was our first Edinburgh walk and we thoroughly enjoyed it, great dogs, great company, great day out all round.  Hope you/we can meet up at the next walk in Edinburgh.   PS Hope you sell the truck soon

Great photos. Sorry we missed yet another one. We decided to try the dogs out rough camping this weekend, first time we've done this since getting dogs. Will probably start a thread on that somewhere else ;)

Hope to see you all again soon and looks like you had a lovely time.

Kathy
