I had a bad experience at the dentist this week and ended up with my gum being cut open and getting stitches. I was in agony and couldn't go back to work but I consoled myself with the thought of cuddling up with my two on the couch and watching day time tv. Fat chance! As you can see, the pair of them took the best couch that looks onto the tv and I didn't even get a look in!
And I had even spent my entire weekend walking them in the Trossachs...
Sorry to hear about your unfortunate trip to the dentist.Shame about you not getting comfy on the couch ( it is the same in our house) but I would not mind walking in the Trossachs the scenery is breathtaking. Hope your feeling better soon and you get the couch back LOL Nora

Lovely photos. Hope your mouth feels better soon. I hate the dentist and had a wisdom tooth out a couple of weeks ago so I have great sympathy. You need more furniture
Hope you're mouth is feeling a lot better soon! Isn't it typical of hounds to take over the furniture when you need it most? Great photos of the Trossachs and the dogs!
Thanks for all the get better soons! Unfortunately, it's ongoing and I've now got very strong pills with no alcohol allowed - I'm devastated. AND my dogs are still not providing enough sympathy, grrrrrrr.

no alcohol and inconsiderate doggies seems like life is the same for us!! Hope you get better soon x but the pups will always look for sympathy when they need it...but hey.. thats why we love them Get well soon Dawn x
Dawn - you're right! The weans don't half look for sympathy when they need it. Here's a picture of Indiana when he hurt his paw a while back. It was a very slight cut, didn't need a trip to the vets, and he limped for about, oooo, half a minute? However, he was a typical male in that you might have thought the world was ending. He wanted to get all tucked in (which he usually hates) and milked it for all it was worth.

What a beautiful picture.
You can almost hear him saying "How sick do I look Mum" What a character....dont you just love them. He looks quite small, how old is he now?
He's one and a half - two in November. Although he's put on a whole lot of weight. Last time at the vets he was 26kg, and he's now up to a hefty 29kg - almost up to Tigerlily's standard! I can see him starting to fill out and he's definitely lost some of the puppy dog look. My boy's all grown up (looks-wise and not behaviour wise)!
