Hi there!

Just a very late breaking announcement - a friend of mine is having a music gig for GAL tomorrow night with all the proceeds going to GAL.

Here are the details and if anyone has a spare moment to visit - that would be great!

Where - Fury Murray's  Maxwell St. Glasgow ( opposite the River Clyde)
When  - Sat. June 2nd - doors open at 7 for 7:30
Who - 3 local bands playing from accoustical to hard rock
Price - £3 to enter with a free entry into the Show Club afterwards!

I agree that is such a thoughtful thing to do. Well done guys hope your night is a roaring success. I have recommended this night to a few influential friends (its not what you know, its who you know) so hope they have a great night and raise lots of money for GAL!biggrin

Well - the bands were there, the place lit up, Joyce & I ready at the door... only thing missing was people! UGH! Somehow most of the advertisement didn't get out so the crowds didn't show up! :( But Lea did show up so it wasn't so bad...

And the manager did say that we could try again and this time to give it 6 weeks promo - so it's back to the drawing board! Hope to try at the end of summer....
