Thanks for all the lovely comments re our new arrival Basil. We took him for a check up today at the vets and he is in tip top condition for his age, with only a mild heart murmur that wont present any problems.

He is so well behaved, such a joy to have around. He's not sure what treats are, and wont  go on the sofa, but no doubt he will learn in time! aww

We are so glad that such a lovely boy was saved in the nick of time and will now be given the chance to lead a healthy happy life, the same opportunity we have all given our dogs and the reason for work done by the good people in GAL. Thank you

He is soooo laid back, they dont even seem to notice he is there! We have noticed though that he likes to lie as close to them as possible, which isnt always a good idea.....a couple of our guys can be a bit grumpy when they sleep.  Presley and Molly are a bit too much for him, but then, they are too much for every dog!!wink
We will need to post some pics of them all together.

I hope that Basil settles in with all of you - I am very sure he will have a grand ol' time!

I just love the name Basil!

Have you ever read Basil Brush's Biography - I know, couldn't believe it myself - every so often the content would remind you it is only a puppet, blimey I was fooled what a full life that pesky wee fox has been living!
