Hi there and welcome to the forum.  Always nice to greet new members.  biggrin

It's even better to hear of new converts to greyhounds.  They are the best!  aww
Better to take time and decide if it's the right decision to take on a dog rather than just following your heart (hard though that is).  wink

We look forward to hearing any/all your stories and hope that you can devote time to take on a grey very soon.

Hi Metta and Sandy - and welcome to the Forum! Hope you enjoy it and also hope it won't be long before you have your own greyhound. I agree it's a big decision to make and not one to take lightly, so take your time and I'm sure the right dog will come along!

I think Tommy found a home along with Bandit who was also in GAL Kennels. I'm sure both of them will be enjoying all their home comforts which they thoroughly deserve!

Hope to hear more about you and perhaps meet you at one of the GAL summer events.

So while you wait to find the right dog for you please feel free to enjoy photo,s of all the other members dogs. Check out the events pages and you can get to meet many happy hounds and their owners. I can happily confirm what Christine said about Tommy, he went to his forever home the other week there and is doing brilliantly and his name is now Harry.

Welcome to the forum, I hope you enjoy it. I'm sure you will be adopted by a dog soon. It's takes guts to send that email asking about adoption, and it's disappointing to discover the one you wanted has gone.(I'm in love with Lucy, but by the time I get myself together I'm sure she'll have moved on without me cry) I can't wait to see the pics of your new family member, I'm sure you'll have one soon. biggrin

Thanks so much for all your wishes and your support.  It is wondeful news about Harry ne Tommy, I know he will be very well loved in his forever home.  I am loving looking on the forum and many a lol and tear has flowed already, you are all such amazing people with wonderful dogs.  I am now just sorting out my diary to make myself available for some of the events days and you will see me there very very soon.
