to have a favourite? ashamed

I must be a really nasty mummy because when i have mentioned to folk in the past that ....... is my favourite, they reply "how can you have a favourite?" or "Eva should be your favourite because she's your first dog".
Does anyone else have a favourite? Or do you love them all the same? heart.gif
......... used to be my favourite but its now changed laughing.gif

Have the names been changed to protect the innocent?

I have 1 dog (Brook) and 3 cats, I wouldn't say I had a favourite, depends on my mood.  Pepper the cat is very affectionate, but constantly moans to get out, Sadie can be a cutie, but is a bit wierd, Missy is my dad previous cat and doesn't like me much and Brook when shes not crying is a wee star,  she crys for nothing, just looking to get petted.

Dont know about a nasty mummy, you are certainly a wicked aunty..ask Presley! biggrin
All of our dogs have different personalities, and the cats have nothing in common, so its very difficult to pick a fav.  I think my fav, happens to be the one I'm with at that moment, for whatever reason aww. It would take too long to say what was my fav thing about each dog (all 7 of them), but Denzil the cat is very affectionate, which is great if you want a cuddle, but a huge pain when he wants a cuddle esp like he did at 5.30 this morningweirdface.  Six (our other cat), only likes to sleep on my knee, which is lovely if I'm watching the TV, but not so good if I'm trying to do something that doesnt involve sitting for hours.hmm

idea oh and then there is Presley!wink

I love all mine the same but i will admit Mia has that extra special place in my heart as she was my first dog & have had her since she was 10 months old & she's now 9.

I don't treat any of mine any differently though which i must state.

My lot are all so different from each other and it would be hard to say ***** is my fav. Sasha is a sweetheart but when she is bored WOW!!!! she can be a pain in the ears, Cas is loving, loves to try to sit on your lap but is very vocal and sounds fierce when she has her grumpy pants on, Rag is still a baby but when she rips the wallpaper or chews a pair of shoes you could see her far enough, Fly is very obediant and loves to play but he is a one person dog and that is my son and old Juno is terrific very clever but can be too protective and has went for other dogs in the past but only on her own territory. So there you have are I have the perfect dog but it took five dogs to make it !!!!!!.biggrin Nora

Only got the one dog (but working on OH) My fav chicken is Big Red, she comes when called and likes to be petted, the others are, well, just chickensweirdface Mickey is only horse I've had since his conception (I owned his mum) and he is a real character furious but I love old Duchess because she has had such a hard life and has never been anything but kind and is so safe for anyone to ride. Old Prince is a nice old horse, enjoying his retirement (but loves going out for a walk with the others, just to show he aint past it yet)wink

tricky one, this. I think, in order:

1. Dave (he's so laid back)
2. Tom (big old lump but nothing much fazes him)
3. Daisy (lovely but she does whine so, it hurts the ears)
4. Neil (cos he can look after himself so doesn't need so much work!!!)

I don't know - Graeme would probably say that I do but, like Dawn, whoever is cuddled up to me at any given time would be the winner.  However, like Saldec, Wills was my first and will always be special because of that.  That said, Millie was my first girlie dog so she is special for that and Tigger was my first ever greyhound so she's special too.  aww

I have to say though, they all have their moments!  hmm

I would say that Graeme probably comes bottom of the list though - poor soul!  wink

see how the husbands seem to be at the bottom of the lists??? hmmmm

i think that's because we all assume that they are adults and can take care of themselves. aren't assumptions dangerous things !! lol

Wow lots of interesting answers, yeh my boyfriend defo comes last too. He can't understand that if i had to make a choice of the dogs or him, it would always be the dogs laughing.gif In my opinion there just isn't an option there giggle.gif

Eva should be my favourite as she was with me first and had her for 10yrs but she is sooooo annoying! Terrible onlead and constantly doing things to wind me up

Millie used to be my favourite as she's just such a big babe heart.gif but she's not very cuddly cry.gif she prefers to lie on her own or with another dog than curl up next to me blankstare.gif

Toby is not my favourite and never has been - only took him from the pound as i felt sorry for him rofl.gif

WILLOW is my favourite heart.gif He's such a wee cuddle monster and is always lying on top of me on the sofa. Even when i get into bed, he climbs on top of me to get curled up as close as he can aww.gif I love the way he smiles when i go home he's that excited to see me aww.gif
His only downfall is his high prey drive but i can't fault him for that-after all its what he's been trained to do smile.gif

I don't know if I have a favourite as they are all loved and loving in their own way (but maybe Prince and Woody have the edge!) However, I would have to say that Bunny is probably Lindsay's least favourite just now because he stole his lunch (2 square sausages) off the work top yesterday when L's back was turned.

I agree with those who say it depends what dog they are with at the time. The husband would definitely say Tigerlily was his favourite though. She has him wrapped round her paws and knows when to sneak into the kitchen to get extra meat off him when Indiana isn't looking! She also hits him to get her tummy rubbed. I only hope if I have children that I don't have girls because any chance of disciplining them looks likely to be nil where he's concerned... Hmmm, maybe I should be more demanding and get more attention. I'll let you know if it works!

I have to say I do not have favourites. Each hound has a different personality and each one funny little different traits and habits. I love them equally for who they are and the joy they bring aww
