Finally some pics of our latest camping Trip
Permalink Closed

Hi Hi All,

Been so busy I haven't had a chance to post our recent camping photos.

I recommend this camp site as it is Eco friendly & has some of the best views & beaches on main land Scotland.

Site is: Camusdarach road to the isles.

It is about 1.5hours past fort william on way to Malliag.

We left Hamilton on Sat 26/08 with temp breaking 8c & halestones coming down heavy on the roof box.

But by the time we made it to the campsite it was blue skyes if not a bit cool 5c that night!!

& so the weather stayed cool but blue skyes biggrin

Well next adventure for all of us is we are hiring a 1960's VW campervan & heading to north Scotland to walk to the most remotest beach in Britain & do a bit of surfing & hopefully whale/dolphin watching.

Not sure how Kiera the black grey will look on a surfboard. Do Gal sell greyhound wetsuits ???

Sure I will have loads of pics.Hopefully weather will be goodish!!   biggrin

Looks glorious. There are some fantastic places to take dogs - we're very lucky.  I love the photo of Kiera in the tent - looks like she's trying to pretend she's a blanket or cushion.

I can't imagine trying to get a wetsuit on a greyhound!  biggrin

It's a stunning place to walk dogs! The scenery is wonderful and you're all having a great time on the beach. Hope you get to see your whales or dolphins on your next adventure - and I can't wait to see the wetsuit photos!

Beautiful place. Years and years ago we camped on the way to Mallaig and the campsite disappeared. I will have to check out the one you went to as a good sounding replacement. The dogs look to be having a great time.

Smashing pix...beautiful place and I love Kiera in the tent. Takes me back to good times about thirty years ago when we used to go camping with Bruno the gsd. Such good memories...thanks a lot for bringing them back with that pic.

Looks like it was a good holiday for everybody.
Loving the pic of Keira relaxing in the back of the car.

The weather was certainly nice for you too.

Did you get a lot of the dreaded midges at all ??

Before we got our caravan we used to go camping with 2 of our Greyhounds, they had more of the bed than we did ! but thats usually the way isn't it.
