Thought you might find this amusing.... My daughter brought Dexter back in from the field yesterday saying he had rolled in something and she had chased him off of it and brought him back in. All the way up his neck was wet and sticking up and his collar had bits of grass etc stuck on it. We have a family of foxes in the field nearby, I could only imagine what it was, so I approached him and had a sniff........... only to be gobsmacked as he had rolled in SOAP! There had been a couple staying a caravan in the field over the weekend and must have thrown their soap out, Dexter found and and decided he needed a bath
You lucky, lucky thing! Oh how I wish Millie would oblige and roll in something fragrant (to my nose). Would you like to lend Dexter out so he can explain this to Millie?
What a fantastic dog, coming home cleaner than he goes out lol, maybe we should all buy some soap and dump it at strategic points on our walk, with all this rain we'd never have to bath them again

ROLL ON MARCH
Blimey, that's a neat trick Dexter. I've caught Mason eating soap (and shampoo) in the past, but never using it properly. You may have the world's first self-cleaning groo Marie
Wish you'd get Dexter to explain to Dixie that when she rolls in smelly stuff, it doesn't have to smell like s***! The other night Dixie came in smelling like nothing on earth - I can only imagine what kind of animal produced what she'd rolled in.
