Poor wee Sally - again

Our poor wee Sally's sporting yet another big red bandage. She has fractured a bone in her paw...cry

She was running about chasing squirrels in the woods on Wednesday and must have bashed her paw or something. Took her to the vet on Thursday as her paw was really swollen and she couldn't put any weight on it. She got a painkiller and anti inflammatory then went back in for an xray on Friday. Wee soul has a fractue. So she's limited to getting out to pee and has to rest for the next few weeks. Taking her back next Friday for a check up and to have her bandage changed.

Poor Sally she's going through the wars a bit isn't she? Perhaps the rain will continue this week and she won't mind being on limited walkies.

Poor wee sally - lead rest is a nightmare - Annie has yet again cut her paw, 2nd time in about 3 months - thankfully this time no stitches just a bandage.  The vet told me she should take it easy - try telling her that we she's flying up and down the living room like a maniac!!!  She doest understand rest - only cabin fever......

Oh dear, I hope Sally and Annie get better soon. It is just sooo hard keeping them rested when they'd rather do anything but.

Sally was at the vet again on Friday, she seems to be healing well and her paw doesn't seem to be hurting her much at all now. She got bandaged up again though and will go back this week for another check up. The wee soul was getting quite depressed last week not being able to go walks with her brother so we've been taking her runs in the car to cheer her up. Hopefully she'll get the bandage off soon and can get back to normal.

Glad to hear it's healing well.  She'll soon be out and about with her brother!  Problem then will be trying to stop her overdoing it!  aww
