Just thought I would bore you all with pics of the foster dogs that I've had over the last month or so....
The adorable dopey Bobby (on the left, prev known as captain) who was with us for a couple of weeks.
Pretty little Molly who was with us for 2wks then went to her new home - she was gorgeous, such a cutie and sooooo sweet.
And Annies favourite so far (cos he play fights with her) the not so timid now Timmy!!! He's off to another foster home tonight (to get used to cats), then his new home in a couple of weeks.
To anyone thinking about fostering I can highly recommend it - the first time you come home and your wee foster dog comes running up the path wagging its tail makes it all worthwhile (even the peeing on the carpet or in timmys case the video, dvd player, tv, and playstion!!)
Thanks for sharing the photos. They're great. And well done for your fostering. It is definitely a joy to see a dog settling into home life, making progress and enjoying their new life
Wow Annie you are amazing and all the dogs looks so happy well done and I know the dogs want to say a big thanks to all who love them and help them find their forever home...
Thats great that you are able to foster. We would love to but simply haven't got the time but i admire people like yourself that are able to help out these beautiful dogs, well done
Oh! I want a black Greyhound!!! I heave heard that they are hard to re-home as they start to grey earlier but I don't care!! The major problem is that I am moving 400 miles south in less that 2 weeks so need to get my lot settled before I start looking for a cat friendly Grey as a pal for Speedy..
Jacqui you've done a great job, you should be proud. It must give you a great feeling of satisfaction and you are obviously very realistic, you can't keep them all!!! I just love the black ones too and I think when the muzzle is greying, it just adds to the appeal, for me anyway. Marian,
P.S. Nice to hear from you again Claire!! your keeping very quiet !
Great pics Annie. You're very lucky to have had your Fosters re-homed so quickly. We've had Sammy for over 2 months now, and haven't heard anything about any interest in him. He's black, very young although he's grey round the muzzle. He's bonded with my lurcher so well, I'm worried that he'll suffer from more anxiety if he's ever found a home.
What great photos of your very contented fosters, Jacqui! You're doing a fantastic job for these dogs in getting them ready for their new homes. Well done!
Christine
ps I love the black ones too - they're so sleek and shiny!

Poor Sammy, I really hope he gets a home soon and hopefully he will settle ok, but I know what you mean, you worry that he will be lonely without another dog - will you be taking him to the open day at langbank kennels on saturday, would love to meet him.... and would be a great place to hopefully get some interest in him
