Having never seen a Lurcher pup this young before, i'm not sure if he looks big or not..he will be 7w on Sunday..his mum was a 16" Bedlington and Dad was a 21" Whippet..i'm guessing he'll end up somewhere in between? Isnt he cute though!
Jake is a wee cutie! He looks a healthy chunky wee pup, but in his last photo with the size of his paws, he looks like he'll grow into a big dog. But with his beddie/whippet cross, maybe not. We'll just have to wait and see!
Errrmmm..i did think these little legs and paws looked quite big for a pup that age..omg..hopefully he wont be pony sized..lol!!! Although..can you imagine how exhausted the terriers are going to be chasing after him all the time!!
We're home! Got Jake yesterday and it seems like he has been here forever! He slept in the lounge tonight with all the others and all apart from the Border Terrier are fine with him (she just keeps out of his way!) He is no shrinking violet and can be a wild little devil. He is tiny..very long and leggy but small..he looked huge in the pics! We had him for a check up at the Vet tonight, she detected a little heart murmur, but she said it was very slight and she hopes it will be gone by his next visit. He did well overnight in the caravan and only squeaked twice during the night to get out for a pee..same tonight he has settled right down in the kitchen after a pee outside and a bit of food. Will keep you updated on his progress!
He sounds as if he's a real wee character! And it's great he seems to be house-trained. Looking forward to hearing how wee Jake is getting on, but from what you say, he's got his big paws under the table already!
Another clean/dry night..he will not go to the toilet in his cage..he just sits a squeaks at the door..so i was up at 2am, 5am and was up anyway at 8am! I cant complain! He is a total livewire and zooms around 'killing' all the soft toys..then suddenly he disappears and he is found crashed out, dead to the world! He cuddled up to Jack on a bean bag whilst we watched TV last night..wish my camera had had active batteries!
