I know that it is strictly not relevant to the forum but I have had several requests for photos of the wedding dress I made for Grahams cousin. In fact some of you have had to sit through meetings where I sewed things for the dress.
So this was my big project of the year, a wedding dress for Cousin Alex.Alex had seen one of my corsets with wings and asked me to make a dress for her wedding. She is really into fairies and tends to have an 'alternate' dress sense.
So along came the day of the wedding and I dressed Alex in the new dress and here are some of the pictures.
The wedding went well, and they make a lovely couple. It was so nice to go to an alternative wedding.Although the ceremony was a full Catholic do the bride and groom had made it very personal.Ross had written some music (Entrance of the Fairy Bride) for Alex to come down the isle to and they had musicians from his band to play and sing. The meal and evening do were also great fun, with the groom even singing to his new bride at the evening do.There was even some Ceilidh dancing.Alex managed the first dance with the train but then we removed it for the rest of the dancing. The wings were also removable as they are attached to the corset modesty panel and I had a plain one to put in its place for travelling, the meal and dancing.
So that was the first day of my holiday and what a great way to start a holiday.More on the rest of the holiday when I get round to sorting the photos.More images of dogs in there so more relevant.

I'm with you - reckon mine are totally buried! My mum is artistic, so's my uncle so where did I go wrong!!!
As for the photos - that is such a beautiful dress. The bride looks absolutely radiant and the dress is stunning - a real head turner! Know who to call if Graeme is ever daft enough to pop the question!!
I hate wedding dresses, but this one is absolutely stunning, even worth getting married just to wear that for a day (though I'd do without the wings, personally). Love the rich colour, in fact evrything about it! Where can we see more of your creations, doggy and human?
Claire - I agree with all the above posts! Your cousin is stunning in the dress you made for her. You've got so much talent, creativity and imagination and it's really brilliant that you were able to give your cousin the dress of her dreams on her big day.
