Mason is usually Mr Aloof when it comes to the laydees but he has a soft spot for a honey lurcher who lives near us called Daisy. She also shows fondness for him which her owners tell me is very rare.
This evening they met in the park and Mason, in typical male mode, wagged his tail hello and then proceeded to ignore Daisy. Since she was off the lead she went off and said hello to another male dog.
Mason was not amused!
He immediately started barking and 'singing' at her until she came, a little shamefaced looking, back to him.
Then they barked at each other like a pair of bickering lovers. It was hilarious!
Its nice to know his ultra cool facade and super confidence can be shaken at times.
It clearly pays off playing hard to getbiggrin

That's wonderful! Mason obviously thought he didn't have to work too hard to keep his bitch, but Honey has taught him a lesson. Little madam!

If Cara reads this thread, it'll break her wee heart. Mason is seeing a lady of Leith!!!!
I've told her he is an older guy, been around a bit and not likely to give her a second glance. I told her as long as she kept her 'Kate Moss' look, she would only attract dodgy "Pete Docherty' types. I explained that blokes only stay around for the fun then they're off. She will be left with the puppies (probably loads of them), her slim figure will be a distant memory and bits of her anatomy will become saggy beyond recognition. I showed her Bess as an example,(Bess was none too chuffed at that)furious But as you can see from her photo, she is still dreaming of Mason, his picture is still by her bed and as soon as I'm off call she'll be longing to catch a glimpse of her hero at the next walk. Please don't tell her about Masons carry on in Leith, she is still too young to understand.

I wonder if Cara will be the first ever girl to listen to her mother's advice - I doubt it!

Remember Cody the JRT that came to stay with me while she was in season confused

Well they must have waited too long before sending her to me cause she gave birth to 8 puppies last night. I'll post a photo of them when I see them, they're not hounds but everyone loves to see puppies. (especially if they're someone elses) I'll show Cara the puppies, that should put her off men for life.

Oh Anne, that made me laugh. Mason will be pleased to know he has one fan, he took on a girl who was a bit too much for him this morning (see Bursting With Pride) and got more than he bargained for!
