Dixie's new identity!

Hi everyone,  we are the proud new best buddy's of Dixie although we decided to slightly change his name to Dexy as it is far more manly!!  He seems to love it as he responds to this name far better than his old one!  Dexy has settled in admirably to the Blake family along with Daniel, Bellann, Anja (5) and Emily (2  1/2) (plus the 3 goldfish).  He has also come to visit the grandparents on holiday already so feels like he has been part of the family for ever.  If you want to see pics, he is under the forum "more Edinburgh hot dogs", along with Anja and Emily.  Trust me, Emily is a lot happier with him than she might look, and loves to cuddle up with him on the floor.  We are looking forward to taking him on a GAL walk in Edinburgh in the near future.  biggrin

Welcome to the forum.  Glad to hear that Dexy is settling in so well with you all.  I was wondering how you were all getting on.  How is he managing with small dogs?

Hi there, so delighted to hear that Dexy is doing so well with you. He was with us for only a short time, but he's a fantastic dog (such a big softie!) and we were very fond of him. It sounds like he has settled in and was definitely meant to be with your family. All the best with him.

Thrilled to hear Dexy is in his forever home with his pals in the picture, I thought they looked a great gang!
Please let us know he he gets on and hopefully we'll see you at an Edinburgh walk soon.

I was wondering who the handsome dog was with the two wee ones.  Question answered!  Great news.  I'm so glad he's found a forever home and has settled so well.  Looking forward to lots more stories and photos.  biggrin
