Hi.

Well some of you may know my Keira is not shy of an accident.

The running into a stig & stabbing herself event.
The jumping a wall & taking her toe off xmas event
The neighbours dog biting a bit of her cheek off summer event.
Plus a few in between, keep my vet in business, challenges. 

So for this time of year she has decided it is time to break her back Toe!!! Nobody knows how it really happend.

Out of all her injuries this is the worst as before it has been a wound to heal but now we need to wait for the bone & ligaments to repair. So no running or long walks for at least 4 weeks & a big fat bandage. 

At this point in time I have 3 insurance claims outstanding. I am hoping we can go to the end of the year without anything else happening. 

However I was very proud when the vet asked if Kiera could be one of their blood donor dogs think they only have 1 or 2. 
It was something I had already asked about before but just with the reception. So now she is on call incase of an emergency blood transfusion. She will also be going in to donate her pint. I wonder what free biscuit she will get.

Good for Keira, at least with her regular visits to the vet she shouldn't be shy of going in to give bloodbiggrin

That is fantastic, just to think that Keira could be saving lives all for the sake of a pint of blood. Go Girl !!!!! heart.gif Nora

Oh poor Kiera hope your toe mends soon. What colour is your stookie bandage? Perhaps instead of a biscuit the vet can give your mummy a discount on future treatments. And mummy give you a biscuit treat instead. My favourite thing at the mo is the denta stix from Royal Canin but mummy will only let me have one at night for bed... hmmmm still a good excuse to go to bed early hint hint mummy love and hugs again kiera love from the Redster..
