welcome to th wonderful world of greyhonds, i have my 1st grey and i've only had him 5 mths but feels like 4ever, would be lost without him, i'd love to give Rowen a friend but not sure........... might just foster for a bit............. lol, Gus is a hansom boy. Denise
unfortunately i dont have any background on him at all apart from his last registered race was 2005. the rescue centre i got him from, the guy there has several greyhounds of his own and he reckoned he had been racing somewhere til recently as his muscle devinition was so good. i have a feeling he has spent some time in a house tho, cos he's not scared of the hoover, will go and lie down on his bed when i ask him and general seems comfortable inside. he hasnt made any attempt to join me on the sofa, although he will lie on his bed watching me intently but takes alot of encouragement to come over unless he wants some attention, however, he will quite happily lie on my bed while im sitting at the pc and is fascinated by anything on the monitor moving. he's very happy playing with a squeaky snowflake but thats about it for playing at the moment. he's also very people friendly. im hoping in time he'll get more and more comfortable with me and will realise that he's here to stay and is more than welcome to come up for cuddles. im certainly tempted to get another one as a friend for him, but think it best to wait a wee while yet. although we're over on the east coast, i will be making ever effort to join on one of the walks and get to the christmas show.
Thought he looked a bit like my boy so checked on greyhound-data. Gus is Mason's nephew! Mason aka Baby Sham 's dad was Frisby Flashing who is Gus' grandad on his mum's side
Aww that is so sweet, Mason has a nephew. They are very alike obivously the good looks went to the boy side of the family. Gus is gorgeous it would be great if they could meet. Nora
