Me and Liz always look forward to hearing about or seeing the dogs either on the forum or at the monthly walk or at Langbank, but we usually look on in envy as we don't feel we can give a dog a home as yet because there is only the 2 of us and we both work. Doggy daycare isn't really an option for us and we also have 5 guinea pigs who live in our living room. Our 1 aim in life, however, is to be in a position to take a couple of greyhounds permanently and to be one of the team in GAL to say "look at our dogs". If only life was that simple.
You are both welcome to come and BORROW one of mine any time you like.Hope you get that much wanted greyhound one day, I am sure there is one out there with your name on it.Meanwhile feel free to checkout ours. Nora

You two have already earned your "wings" with the fostering you have done. And also with the shifts you have put in at SPCA, Bothwell Bridge.
We don't all have greyhounds, but there is always something we can do to aid the plight of the dogs.
Whether it is buying a ticket for one of the Kennel Fund events (well, you can't blame me for getting a free plug), or transporting a dog to a walk, everyone has something to offer.
You are already a member of the GAL team in my opinion. If you're members of the forum and/or attend events then you qualify easily. You also foster dogs so that makes you more than qualified!
Good luck with your quest to adopt your greyhound(s). I'm sure it'll happen when it's meant to. I'm looking forward to hearing that you've got your dog(s) and the stories about them.
