Our monthly walk in the east takes place on the last Sunday of the month - Sunday, 28th October between 12 noon and 2 p.m.
Come along with your family/ friends and your adorable dog and meet others, with their beautiful pets. A great chance to take your dog on a different wee walk and for him/ her to meet other greyhounds and lurchers - they sure make a fantastic picture, seeing them all in their variety of colours and sizes.
We meet at the car park of St. Margaret's Loch, from 12 noon onwards. Representatives from GAL will be clearly visible in their orange tabards and Steve Leyland will be there with his brindles and wearing his hat to give you all a warm welcome. Steve will remain in and around the car park for the duration.
Well, as we know, the days are drawing-in and we are now in autumn, so make sure you are nice 'n' snug and, as we are in a public park, don't forget to bring along those poo-bags.
I'll be there, may not have Cara with me, but I'm sure the other two are up for it. Is Bess's Holyrood dog walker going to be there Bess made a new friend last month and went off with her without giving me a second glanceThats dogs for you, given the chance of a younger fitter dog walker, they're off like a shot
My neice (also Cara) has done nothing but talk about Bess since the last walk and is dying to see her again, she really is a great wee dog. We love the picture of her an the other thread.
Anne your photo's are fab, I love the last one of Mason and Gus, peas in a pod or what. It was great meeting everyone and their hounds today, it was really nice to meet the gorgeous Libby and to see how far she has come a very happy healthy Hound. Fingers crossed that Rubys prospective new owners home check goes okay today, as she is adorable and her new family seem so nice.

ROLL ON MARCH
Mason and Gus made a very handsome pair I thought...
Gus seemed to enjoy meeting all the other groos and being generally cooed over. He is a handsome boy, next to him I thought Mason looked quite the older chap...more statesman like is how i put it to him.
it was good to meet some of you today, especially mason. unfortunately the traffic was so bad at the bridge, that we didnt get there until late. the plans are already getting made for us to attend the christmas show, so we'll get a chance to meet even more of you then.
