Meet the new committee 2007-2008

Hello everyone and welcome to another exciting year for G.A.L.!!!

On the 28th of October - Greyhound Awareness League held its Annual General Meeting for all members to come and hear how and what G.A.L. has accomplished in the past 12 months! While it was a small but very friendly / cheerful group that came - the information was stunning!!

G.A.L. had a great year with more anticipated for 2007/2008!!! HOPE TO SEE MORE OF YOU DURING THE NEXT
12 MONTHS!!

Just to give you all an update as to who was nominated and elected for the Committee:

Convenor - Linda Stewart
Vice Convenor - Graham Robinson
Secretary - Iluska Sandor
Treasurer - Iluska Sandor

The position of Secretary is being handled by Iluska with the hope that in time someone will come along to assist!

We have the following representatives:
Shop - Claire Steyert
Events/Kennel Fund/Volunteer - Joyce MacDonald
Foster/ Follow up Coordinator - Jacqui Honeyman
Membership Coordinator - Lita Bannerman
Homing Coordinator(s) - Denise McGranaghan and Linda Stewart
Newsletter - Christine Young

So if you see us at any events - please come up and say hello! We look forward to this year with G.A.L. in making it yet another very sucessful year!!

  Hi,
 
  I would just like to thank Iluska, Joyce [Mc Donald ],Graham and Lita, for their
  help with my initial membersip/online difficulties in what is very often a time- eating technical matter, and to all others  on the forum that offered their help.
