We had a gorgeous big fawn boy handed in as a 'stray' yesterday by some kid. Unknown to this young man, i had seen him with the same dog last week walking down the railway so i have no doubts that the dog was not a stray, although just to give the kid a benefit of a doubt i'm posting this message JUST incase the dog had been 'found' last week and just hadnt been reported until he no longer wanted to keep it. but thats just a very big IF thats in the back of my mind.
he was 'found' wandering the streets in Bonnyrigg, Midlothian.
he seems young but his tattoos dont seem to be recognised.
and if anyone should be interested in him feel free to get in touch with us, message me for any contact details. thankenyou very much.
Hi Helen. Perhaps you could post him on here http://www.doglost.co.uk/ They have a dogs found section. Maybe you could have a look in the lost section just incase there is a dog that matches the description. Worth a try. Of course it could just be a trainer getting rid of unwanted racers...
Hi,I've had no luck with the tattoos of a number of dogs here,I phone the Stud Book up,no.on web site,Greyhound Data Base.it can take a while to get through, but worth waiting sometimes.Sounds like the old story of unwanted dog to me but you're right you have to give people the benefit of the doubt.!!It's just that it's a grey and we know they get dumped all the time.
he has been sold to a very nice lady who already has three other greys and a whippet, not only that but she has two young kids who this big boy seems to love already.
only thing is... she has a cat in amongst this bunch so providing he doesnt shame himself by trying to maul the kitty he should have his loving new home :D
