I finally found out where the poor dog with the broken legs had her puppy. I have been wanting to help her for a week or so but could see that she was with milk and needed to find her babies before taking her. She only had one puppy and she had him in a hold in the ground. Goodness knows how the poor girl dug out the hole with her legs in the state they are. She is very sweet but very frightened. Pup seems to be okey if not a little bit subdued. I have now caught her thanks to the help of the goatherder whose land she had made her nest upon and I have her in the shelter. I have promises of money from our sister charity in Holland if anything can be done to sort out her legs. How she has survived like this I don't know. Poor dog.
She is in some state Val, what a star you are. Congratultions on getting her and her pup safely to the shelter, hope something can be done for the poor girls legs. Please keep us updated. Best wishes. Nora

That poor mum and the suffering she has had to bear, I cried when I saw her, at least they are both safe now and in your care. Let's hope the vets can do something for her legs, after what she has been through, she deserves a new chance at life.

I'm so glad to hear you've got them both. What a relief. Poor lamb - what a state and what a sweet wee face she has. I hope that something can be done to help her with her legs. Best of luck to her and her pup for the future - they have the best possible chance now. Let us know how she gets on.
I'm crying looking at those pictures. Breaks my heart to see any animal in such an awful state. Thank goodness you were able to rescue her. Please keep us up to date x
