If she isn't losing weight or very thin she might just not be hungry, sometimes Mason barely touches his bowl, other times I get up in the mornig to find it licked clean. Seems to depend on the weather and how active he as been - if he's pretty much slept all day he's not exactly burned energy, lol

Hi Jungle,
I noticed the name of the food you feed Kyla is called 'Alpha Worker Maintenance' - does that mean its a dog food for a working dog??  Dog foods for working dogs are usually very high in protein.  High protein diet is not required if your dog is retired.   Is this food something new for her? - so perhaps she's not used to it, and is still adjusting to the change in her diet.

Many people just feed a complete dried kibble diet and some feed dried kibble with a little meat or fish mixed in.   We use 'Wagg' dried kibble which is very reasonably priced and available from most supermarkets and pet stores.  An example of a tasty treat to add into kibble is a tin of sardines or tuna.

On another note,  don't worry if your dog misses some meals it won't do any harm as long as there's no signs her being unwell.

A tip we found that really worked with a picky eater was not to leave the bowl of food lying out too long after serving it.  Leave it for upto half an hour, if they don't touch it or only pick at it within that time, remove it. They soon learn that the food is only there for a short time.  A good feeding routine can be established by doing this.
