Hi Everyone,

I am the new GAL secretary & wanted to post some updates from the Committee on how the GAL I NEED A HOME dogs are doing ...

Since October GAL has rehomed 23 dogs !!!

There are 51 dogs on the books currently & 4 approved applications so over the next week we hope to be homing even more dogs. biggrin.gif

1 pending home check biggrin.gif

2 new foster homes that should be taking a dog the end of this week. biggrin.gif

We are also in the process of planning the year ahead : The easter collar parade, A comedy night, The Summer GALA, another psychic night & loads more.

If you have any fund raising ideas please let us know.idea.gif These can be posted on the fund raising suggestions part of the forum.

I am sure I will be bringing you lots of positive updates in the coming weeks.

Remeber keep posting & keep telling everyone how wonderful Greyhounds are as you know a few needing a good home.

Welcome to the post and thanks for the figures. It encourages us all to keep praising greys because we see how much work you guys do to get them a good home - 23 dogs is a lot since October! smile.gif

well done for getting that many homed in such a short time, I have just sent a message to Jacqui about Holly, I'm looking for a black girlfriend for rowen so if you have any info please get in touch. Congrats on the post i'm sure you'll do a great job, we should catch up for a walk soon, x

Well, Graham the good news is that along with a 60's/70's disco and another very poopular Psychic Evening, I am just awaiting the ceilidh band to confirm that they can play in October.
