Hi All,

I have fund raising suggestions :

For everyone who wants to get fit & raise a some cash why not start training for the 10K in June or September
There are various runs on for Men & women.

Mens in June
http://www.mhfs.org.uk/mhfs/10K08.php

I started trainig last year & managed to do 5k non stop within 2 months. However xmas got in the way so prob back down to 5 minutes !!

However for those of you who have met me I am no lean athlete but I have found the training very enjoyable & have noticed a big difference in my health.

Now that I have signed up for a 10k in June I feel I owe it to myself & the charity (GAL) I am running for to be good & prepare for it.

I have some 10 week training plans that I can give out if you want to know where to start. These are very good & the first week is 2 x walking for 20mins. Just like a Greyhounds perfect excercise.

All I can say is for those wanting to get fit & healthy why not give it a go ...

Thanks
Naomi & the 2 dogs I will be dragging round the park.biggrin.gif

Hi Naomi

You definately looked a bit leaner at the park on Sunday!

You're regime has already started to bring you results.

Well done and keep us posted on how you are doing.

Joyce
