I know it's been posted somewhere but I'll be here all night faffing around. I was hoping to come to the next Edinburgh one y'see, maybe see some of these cracking dogs, oh and people, but mostly dogs. Heh heh
Anyway would appreciate if a'body could let me know.
Cool, we will see you there, oh if my two growl at other dogs at first don't worry it passes, really. I will be giving them the pep talk beforehand, and will make sure Mason is growl free.
Oh I'm glad you posted this as i didn't realize it was that time already! I'll probably need to wave from afar as jet will probably have a growl as well still he normally settles down and don't worry if he get's growled at, it'll probably be his own fault.
Hahaha that's me too. I can never pet other dogs as my hands are full. Although Rufus got mobbed by 4 chihahuas (?) today, and he just looked confused.
Hahaha just read that, Jet's idea of takeout. They were feisty wee things too. Had to hold on to Stumpy though, especially when they were milling around under his legs.
I'm going to try and make the walk, not sure what dogs to bring, depends on weather (Bess hates the wind) Bryn gets second jab today, but he wouldn't manage the long walk so I'm not sure about him. That leaves 'sick bag' and Bella ah well I'll wait and see what the weather does

Bring Bryn and I can look after him as Tara and I will be staying round the car park anyway as she is not up to much of a walk either. Be lovely to see how he has grown.
Mason and I will come up at the end of the walk not cos I'm lazy but my move to Glasgow looks to be on and I'm in a sudden flurry of decorating so I can get my flat on the market and have roped in a pal to wallpaper, think it would be unfair to leave her working alone for a couple of hours...but I'm sure she'll be relieved if I go out for a bit!! Marie
Nah leave her working and come along. We would love to meet you and your boy. Just leave her with a bottle of wine a giant tub of magnolia and a roller, she'll barely notice you're not there.
Darn it, we won't be able to come along after all. Jet's hurt his paw and i'm not sure if all the limping is genuine pain or his attempts as getting sympathy treats. He does often try the hammy acting in the hope the it yeilds a bit of ham or chicken.
However I guess the dripping blood bit is not put on and it's a long walk, so he's getting bed rest today and vet's tomorrow! see you all next month.
Sorry we we're able to make it today, Bod was sunning himself down in North Berwick all weekend!! Hope youu all had a good walk - nice bright day anyway!
That was my first walk, was fun. Rufus and Stumpy are cream crackered, really, they run more usually but for some reason this has them puggled. BUT I saw Bryn, he was to die for. So sweet and gangly but still a wee baby. And met some beautiful dogs. So a good day all in all.
It was good to see everyone and meet Rufus and Stumpy even if Mason seemed to have an 'unnatural' attraction to the boys - is it the short tails?!?
Marie
PS Mason is knacked too but I think its more to do with my pal being here all day with her wee terrier in tow. Its odd how any disruption to his routine seems to exhaust him. I think, like me, he needs his 'alone' time
You're right there. We left the house at 10 and between going to to pals house before and after walk they were out for 7 hours. Was fun though but as you could probably tell both Jim and I were besotted by Mason, so like our boy and as gentle. It's actually Stumpy who is struggling tonight, he has a bad back/hip thing due to his first 2 years and kept sitting down all during walk, he is crying tonight but has full belly, a painkiller and even after training him to sleep in his own bed, he sleeps with us tonight... How rubbish am i?
Great to meet you both. Hope to see you and that lovely big fella again. Oh and as for unnatural attraction they are used to it. Gay Icons see... Look out Kylie
Poor Stumpy, I think he's entitled to the bed! Mason loved the attention, particularly from Jim- he's such a man's dog and just adores getting attention from a bloke. Sometimes he gets so attached I can almost feel him looking at me as if to say 'can we take this one home?' and seeming quite aggrieved when I say no I used to feel a little inadequate because of his attachment to men and initally wondered if I had done the right thing taking him. But now we have such a strong bond I know he loves men, but is very definitely my dog! I think he still lives in hope though, poor boy Marie
What do you expect Marie? the boy goes to the bookies and the pub, he's going to want to talk bloke stuff with the handsome Rufus and Stumpy. It was great to see them at the walk, sorry I missed Mason but my mums got a cold and I had to take her dog out as well. Bryn loved meeting all the other dogs and people, he has a very quiet life here and it was his first trip to the BIG city
Rufus and Stumpy go to the bookies too, with their Grandad. Good old Dad giving a room full of punters the "pep" talk about greys, whilst putting a bet on the horses himself...oooer. Anyway his heart is on the right place.
I wish I'd had my camera on Sunday, Bryn looks like the result of a dirty weekend involving Tara and Zak. He's got her fluffy coat and is the same colour as Zak

If someone came along who could offer him a better home than me, I'd let him go. He is one of 4 here and so there is a limit to how much time can be devoted to him. I don't think he is 'suffering' here with us, he loves his wee pack and feels very secure, he doesn't mind being out in the run with Bella and Bess when we are at work as he often has his sister to play with while he is there. He also spends time next door with Fala as she does with us when one of us is out working. He is a very quiet chap when he isn't playing with his sister (he's knackered) and he has started to take an interest in us humans now (I think we come a poor second to his dog pack) The more he bonds with us the harder it will be, for both of us, to part so the longer he stays the more picky I get about where he goes
Yay, I'm sure its better for him to be part of a pack than be smothered with human affection. I know Mason benefits from being part of a pack at daycare during the week, although he's got the two-legged ones pretty much wrapped around his finger. The only thing that keeps me popular is that, unlike his four-legged friends, I can produce a nice piece of lamb neck or cheese on command. Oh and I provide tummy rubs when asked! Marie
