I just realized that next week is the monthly dog walk at Strathclyde Park in Motherwell! I know it is Mother's Day but hope that everyone can come out for a nice walk before heading to the family for tea time!
We are also excited to announce that we will be having for the next few months a VOLUNTEER MEETING prior to the walk. This is to go over GAL's policies and procedures and to meet and get to know each other! At events it can be quite hectic and may be hard to find time to chat with your fellow volunteer.
SO IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING OR HAVEN'T VOLUNTEERED IN A WHILE - COME ALONG!
The details:
WHEN: Sunday 2nd of March WHERE: Strathclyde Park in Motherwell - 2nd car park from the Watersport Centre TIME: The volunteer class will start just after 10:30 and go for about 20-30 minutes and then the walk is from 11-1pm!
You won't be able to miss us - we will have our bright red/orange G.A.L. bibs on! Hope to see you there!
Any questions please PM me and don't worry if you miss this walk - we will be holding the class again next month along with the walk!
Amelie, Janice and I all enjoyed the walk this month. Thanks John for taking the pictures, Amelie thinks that you got her good side!
It was nice to meet so many dogs, we were sorry to see Jamie not feeling so good.
Best news of the day was that Branston has found a new home. He is such a handsome boy, he deserves a good home and it very much looks like he is in good hands.
It was also very nice to meet Mickey and his new owner, I hope that you two continue to get on well, both looked very comfortable and happy.
And special thanks from the three of us to Steve. Amelie was clearly very excited to see him again. Steve did a great job with Amelie when she was in his care. There were several of his "babies" there today and all looked delighted to see him and I am sure are as greatfull as we are.
