Two and a half years ago I took in my first foster boy Jimmy Lewis, a beautiful big black fellow. He was the most beautiful laid back boy you could ever hope to meet (unless you were a cat). He was homed to a lovely family in Portlethen  whom I am happy to say have kept me posted of his progress.

Last week Gary phoned me with the news that Lewis had been diagnosed with bone cancer and did not have long . Sadly Lewis had to be released on Thursday. I visited the family today and they are devastated. At least he had two and a half years of being loved and spoiled.

Sleep tight my lovely boy. All who knew you and loved you will cherish your memory.

Thea.

Sorry to give you this sad news Glenda. Could you please let Denise know?

Hi Thea

Thanks for letting us know.

I came across Gary's name as I was updating the database a couple of days ago and wondered how Jimmy Lewis was doing. (That's happened with another of GAL's dogs who have just passed too. Very spooky.) So sad - and another victim of the dreaded bone cancer.

Just glad he was happy in his last years.
