Greyhound Found in Lochgilphead

Found this afternoon in Ellary Place, Lochgilphead, one absolute cracker of a greyhound bitch. She's young, red fawn and very, very friendly. She's not microchipped and she has a collar but no tag. She's currently at Dalriada Vets in Lochgilphead (01546 602240) but I expect that she will be picked up by the dog warden tomorrow if she hasn't been claimed (01546 602127). She got straight into my car and lay down quietly, she is LOVELY and I really, really wanted to keep her but I expect there is a family out there looking for her. I got a phone call from someone who knows I'm a grey addict and who was a bit concerned for the rabbits in the hutch that she was eying up!

Sounds like the rabbits had a lucky escape. I hope her family are reunited with her soon.

I had heard a bit last week from my son in law. But no details hope she is back with her family very soon. I love the fawns lol Red looking over my shoulder at the mo.....

She was reunited with her owner this morning, she belongs to an old lady who was visiting her son in Lochgilphead. It wasn't only the rabbits who had a lucky escape, Ellary Place is only a few hundred metres from a sheep field!

It's a lesson to always have a name tag on your dog's collar.
