This Sunday, 27 April sees another awareness day/ walk taking place in Holyrood Park, Edinburgh - meeting in St. Margaret's Loch Car Park - between 12 noon & 2 p.m.
The lovely Steve Leyland will be your hose, with his adorable hounds - Roscoe & Jess and their ever-so-lovely foster blue girl - Darcy!
Bob and I will be there too! We'll have to catch a bus which Bob is a bit excited about!! Oh and I can't wait to meet Darcy she looks gorgeous, only wish I could have another one!
It was a glorious walk today and many thanks to Timmy, Bob, Jet, Roscoe, Jessica and our foster Darcy for their efforts. The weather was fabulous and we had many people turning up to meet the dogs and walk them for us as they looked into fostering and adopting. We even saw Paco Joe - a local greyhound who still lives with and is much loved by his former trainers who bring him out when we are there ( he is 13 and a greyer version of Mason if you can imagine) Mason would like to thank the lovely lady who walked him with her granddaughter round the park. She is waiting for a cat-friendly groo to join the pack and they had a blast together. Thanks go to Steve for his patter in the park, which again proved, hopefully, fruitful. A good day, thanks to all who came! Marie
Sorry I missed the walk, I was collecting a dog for Lurcher Link and keeping her overnight so her new mum could collect her this morning. The weather was great yesterday, I hope it's as good for the next walk. Marie, I hope you had some keen viewers yesterday, see you at the next walk. Anne
It was a lovely walk yesterday, such glorious weather- i wish we could have gone all the way round but i really had to get off to do some revision - exam on friday arghhhhhh!
What amazing weather we had! Brilliant walk, Bob and I headed up the Royal Mile afterwards and found a cafe where we could sit outside. Perfect day! Lovely to meet up with everyone and to meet wee Darcy.
