I feel i have to post on the forum as do not seem to be able to get hold of anyone within GAL for help.
A friend of mine (who took one of my foster dogs) ordered a collar, lead and muzzle for her new dog around 16 days ago online. She ordered through GAL because its fairly local and assumed it would arrive in time for her new dog coming.
When she ordered the goods, i checked with the gal shop that they had all these items in stock, which they did, to ensure the goods would come in reasonable time.
I contacted the women who ordered the goods last week to see if she had received the goods from GAL so i could get back my dogs own slip collar which i had lent them.
My friend has tried phoning the GAL shop number, with no luck, and i have emailed several people about the order within GAL (as has my friend) and have had no reply from anyone.
Week commencing 12th May it will have been 3 weeks since the order has placed. I can't think of any reason why the order would not have arrived yet , especially since GAL have taken the money out her account!!
I similarly ordered a calander from the GAL shop a week ago but have yet to receive any confirmation of when it will be delivered. I have brought this to the attention of the committee today.
As the shop is run by volunteers someone is not always available on a weekend to reply to questions. We only received an e-mail informing us that this order had not been received on Friday afternoon.
The person placing the order has been e-mailed about getting a replacement, but for info. I have checked the details and the order was placed on the 30th and the proof of posting indicates that it was dispatched first class on the 2nd. We will follow this up with the post office on Monday.
