Remember Andrew Gough? Well he lost his appeal

"Judge Treverton-Jones rejected Gough's appeal, saying: "This was an appalling attack on a defenceless animal in a bungled attempt to kill it."

He also dismissed an appeal against Gough's sentence and ban on keeping animals.

"We can't conceive of a very much worse case of animal cruelty than this."

The judge rejected a prosecution application for more than £2,000 costs and, "as a small act of mercy", ordered Gough to pay £250. "

I can't beleive this man had the cheek to appeal! Just as well he lost. I think he got off extremely lightly. Christine's idea of leaving him in the care of some GAL members or other animal lovers would be a much better way to deal with him.

Hope his cell mate is an animal rights campaigner

Hi

Thank goodness - at last a judge with common sense! Hope Gough has a completely miserable time in jail. There is honour amongst thieves, too, and it would be poetic justice if his cellmate was an animal-loving psychopath, like bluesmumanddad says. Bet he'd squirm when the lights went out...
