Well, we went back to Strathaven on Wednesday to meet Bruce (as he was then known!).  All 3 dogs got on very, very well.  In fact, they were so laid back, they were almost horizontal!!  Our plans were to initially foster the wee man and then adopt if all goes well.  Well, we've now decided to shelf that idea, and have gone straight to adoption!!  We will go back and pick him up next Tuesday - we are away for the weekend and didn't think it was fair on him to be shoved from pillar to post for the sake of a couple of extra days.


I have managed to work out how to post piccies, so he is a shot of the 3 together - from l-r Freddy, Barney and Wilma.


 



I phoned the Irish Stud Book yesterday afternoon, and from his tattoos they told me that his registered name was Dooree Hope and he was born on 14 February 2003 - Ahhhh!


We will keep you updated on his (and our!) progress, and hopefully he will be at a GAL event sometime soon!!
