Woody's new home

Hi all,   Just to let you know that Woody ( formerly Bongo ) is now safely ensconsed in his new foster home.  He has been extremely well looked after, for the past month, by Jimmy and Susan who very kindly brought him over to my place this morning.  After a morsel of cheese to ease the parting and a walk round the garden, a wee kip was in order, so he kipped on the reclining chair and I kipped in the dog's bed.

He then met the rest of the collie gang ---- all waggy tails and not a cross word between them so went for a walk to meet the neighbours.  Thankfully he showed not one bit of interest in them or their lambs.  Different story with the other neighbours --- well --- he was gobsmacked, just didnt know which rabbit was the best target.  All in all t'was an exhausting walk for an old gentleman who needed his dinner when he got home, and polished the bowl, and is now semi-consious on my couch!

Hi Julie

That's great news about Woody! Sounds as if he's really chilled out about moving house. I can imagine him being in his element with rabbits living next door, and he'll get lots of exercise wondering which one to chase.

Jimmy and Susan must be missing him too after taking him on as a foster short term, but it's wonderful that he's settled in so quickly and so well with you already!

Christine

It's excellent to hear that Woody is doing so well already.  Steve and I met him in his previous incarnation as "Bongo", and he's a lovely old boy.  We hope you'll all be very happy together.
