Even though we didn't get our beautiful girls from GAL - i must admit that you really are the best. We are showing our support by sening off a request to become members. Also we have been approached by a number of people recently(including a neighbour) to ask about our girls and how we got them. We have strongly advised that these people approach GAL when the time is ready for them to have a new addition to the family - so fingers crossed x - hopefully another couple of hounds will be happily rehomed!


Have just had a look at the dogs on the SPCA page - my heart is breaking for poor Jasmine as she looks like a very unhappy and frightened girl - i hope she finds a loving home soon.

Hi Calamity, like you we didn't get our dogs from GAL. We had little support or greyhound specific information given to us by the SSPCA whom we adopted Zelda and Andie from. Since discovering GAL we have had our eyes opened. They are a wonderful group of folks with a genuine interest in the dogs and their owners. I have been enlightened since I have started chatting to them and have been helped into understanding why my dogs behave the way they do. This has been a great benefit to both us and our dogs. They truly are a fantastic bunch.
