Sashas got a baldy neck!
Permalink Closed

Any suggestions? Sasha normally wears a brown leather greyhound collar but recently we've noticed that her neck (underside) is becoming devoid of hair! Is there any other type of collar that we could use or am i completely off track and theres another reason for this?

Any suggestions welcome.

If Sasha pulls a bt on lead then perhaps thats whats doing it or perhaps you've got the collar on too tight??...

I'll plug the GAL shop now, Esther sell's really nice 'slip' collors, the hang loose round the neck when walking but if the dog pulls they tighten up a wee bit so are completely secure (they are like very comfy and not at all cruel choke leads)..Esther also sells nice indoor collars, don't know if you keep Sasha's collar on in the house, if you do then you could perhaps try one of these indoor, works on the same principal as the 'slip' collars but are made of fabric, dead comfy!

Sasha pull? Haven't you met the laziest hound in history? This is the girl that a three year old took for a walk!

Thanks for your suggestion - will have a look at the shop and see if we can find something more comfortable for Madame Sasha - obviously Popalong will want one too so will have to check out the piggy bank!

Thanks.
