Hi Dave and Denise

That's a wonderful article! Let's hope all the phone calls Dave is getting produce a lot of great new homes for GAL's greys and lurchers. Denise - you've really put across to the journalist the true flavour of what GAL is all about. It's an inspired piece of publicity - congratulations!

Hi all

What a day for publicity - the Daily Record and the Evening Times!! We couldn't have done that if we'd tried.

No wonder the phone hasn't stopped ringing - let's hope it leads to a lot of new homes.

Excellent coverage! I notice that the photographer's surname was "Ponty" - I read it as "Pointy"!!! Would have been very apt.

Well done, Denise.

What Dave hasn't told you all is that the article only came about because of major connivance between him, Glenda and Dawn.  Thanks guys.

Best thing about it is the free publicity for GAL and anything that raises awareness about our gorgeous greyhounds and lurchers is just fantastic.

Hilarious thing was the reporter admitted she wasn't a "doggy person" and preferred cats!  We swapped stories about our cats and I told her how greyhounds were really just the canine version.  Lazy and very clean.

I failed miserably in persuading her to adopt a greyhound but she is now seriously considering adopting another cat!

Fingers crossed that the majority of the phone calls Dave's been getting turn into real adoptions.

Denise.

Hi Everyone,

I though quite a few people would have seen  the Evening Times article.    So I got Trei and Cleo into their red coats and off down the Kelvin Walkway,  up Great Western Road and then a rest in the Botanic Gardens  - the red coats always prove a draw and people stop to chat  -    Can have a good chat about greyhounds

Lots of people had seen the article -    handed out a few GAL contact cards

What a brilliant article. I am filled with admiration for all those who do something about the causes they believe in so much.

Hope that phone continues to ring and some of the many hounds on the books find a home.

Well done Charles for thinking to take the dogs out in their snazzy red coats!

Hi

What a fabulous article!  I am so very proud and privelleged to have met you and absolutely delighted, well we have become smitten kitten, to have offered forever homes to our two dogs - Fiddie and Coco (nee Joy).

I tell everyone about GAL, providing them with the 'phone number and website address.

Sorry not to have said anything last week @ dog training; I was unaware of the ET article. The only article I was aware of was that within the Daily Record - it too raised great profile.
