It seems like Sun has found his forever home and his time with us is limited (hoping to meet his new dad next Sunday).
Sun has come on leaps and bounds over the past weeks. He is now really playing with toys (and shoes!) and has started doing that crazy, bum down, bombing about run, everytime his lead appears. He even picked up Ozzys lead and collar the other day and tried to pull it into his bed (poor Ozzy got all excited by the prospects of being taken out for a walk by Sun).
It's going to be hard saying farewell to the beautiful boy but wonderful to know that he has found a permanent home.

That's great news for Sun! I can only imagine how sad you must feel at the prospect of saying goodbye to your beautiful boy, but you may see him from time to time at some of the GAL events if his new Dad brings him along. You'll miss him lots but you've done a wonderful job of helping Sun adjust to home living and allowing his true nature to come through that has helped him find his permanent home! Well done!
It's never easy to say goodbye to your foster dogs. I shed a wee tear when each goes. But its is so great to seem them settled into their new homes and progressing well.
You know that you have helped Sun, in a very special, on his journey. He will always be special guy to you.
I have foster dog number 9 at the mo - I kept no 8 So I always think of my 7 foster dogs - they are mine and I just love to hear how they are coming on. I get to see quite a few of them from time to time.
Dave and Denise sorting you out with another foster???
It's a strange thing when the time comes to say goodbye and hand them over to their new owners. Whilst you have them you keep telling yourself "i'm not that attached" and are desperate for them to find their new home but when the day comes it's harder than you thought. I worried that Spart would think we were abandoning him and also what if he misbehaved!
Sun is a lucky boy to have had a loving foster home and hope his new owners will join the forum to let us know how he gets on.
