Hi Seve, I thought I'd posted about him (obviously not - apologies is HAS been a long week...)


OK folks, after 19 months and 16 days in GAL's care the lovely Vinnie went to his new home last Saturday, he was a lovely dog who's only crime was to be big and black.....He's settled in well in his new home in Glasgow with fellow GAL rescue hound MAGGIE...(everyone say awww...)

Kathleen will be thrilled!  And I'm guessing Maggie will be thrilled too - she is quite a lively playful girl and really wanted to play with Kathleen's other two dogs who are really too old to join in!


I love a happy ending.

Aaaaaww! That's wonderful! Vinnie is a great dog - and all the best to him in his new home. I'm delighted for him and, of course Maggie. Am I right in remembering that Maggie is all white? If so, what a stunning couple they'll make! Hope to meet them at one of the events soon!

Call me soppy, but this wonderful news has brought tears to my eyes. I am so thrilled for Vinnie.

His new family have got one gorgeous boy. Just goes to show that there is always the right home out there for every dog.

You have a very good memory Christine - yes, Maggie is almost all white - she has one fawn ear and rather gorgeous eye makeup!

Yes, Lesley - how could I forget her eyes! They are so beautiful with the black eye liner against her white coat. Oh what a gorgeous pair they'll be.

Vinnie is at the training classes with his old kennel mate Bert. Both look great and both v happy dogs......we do like a happy ending.

The boy blunder, Fiddie was also a roomie at Rachel & Eddie's and so knew Bert, Vinnie & Bruce - they love meeting up.  But yes, Vinnie is at newbie classes and doing very well, like the other fab pooches.

Fiona, I spoke to Vinnies new Mum and she would love to see the pictures.  She doesn't have access to the Forum, so I offered to pass them on for her.  I have sent you my address via Personal posting.
